I learn new things all the time and it’s great to give our customers great service.

My ancestors come from all over the world but I am a New Zealander. I have lived my whole life in or around Gisborne. I spent my school years in Gisborne city but have also spent time in Manutuke, Patutahi, Potaka and have a house in Muriwai.

Favourite ancestor? My Grandmothers values and work ethic are my inspiration.

Favourite whakatauki/proverb? Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. This is one of the values my grandmother has instilled in me.

What is your role in the company? I manage and develop a vibrant and profitable seafood retail business by giving our customers great friendly service which allows us to achieve financial and sales targets. This involves merchandising in the store and mobile sales trucks, as well as staff management, competitor analysis and building a health and safety culture with staff.
